Junior Web Designer

The Northlane brand studio in Portland is looking for a Junior Web Designer to turn fresh brand identities into clear websites.

You will design and build sites from first sketch to launch, working closely with our brand designers, copywriters and clients.

• Design website layouts that bring new brand identities to life.
• Build responsive sites in Webflow with tidy structure and clean class names.
• Create simple style guides and reusable components for each client.
• Test each site on phones, tablets and desktops before launch.
• Train clients to update their own content after launch.

• 1-2 years of web or digital design experience
• A portfolio of live websites you designed yourself
• Strong Figma and Webflow skills for responsive layouts
• A good eye for typography, color and spacing
• Friendly, clear communication with small business clients

• Experience with brand identity or logo design
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience with simple web animations
• Previous work in a small creative studio
