Medical Assistant

Novalink Health runs outpatient clinics across Boston and is looking for a calm, organized and caring Medical Assistant.

You will support doctors and nurses with patient intake, basic clinical tasks and scheduling to keep every clinic day on time.

• Greet patients, update their records and prepare exam rooms between visits.
• Take vital signs and record each patient history accurately in the system.
• Assist clinicians during exams, vaccinations and other routine procedures.
• Schedule follow-up visits and send clear appointment reminders to patients.
• Keep medical supplies stocked and all equipment clean, safe and ready.

• 1-3 years of experience as a medical assistant
• Medical assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
• Confident with electronic health record systems
• Friendly and patient with people of all ages
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

• Phlebotomy experience in a clinic setting
• Spanish language skills for bilingual patients
• Experience in a busy outpatient clinic
• Knowledge of medical billing codes
